6. Procedures/Methods-

A. Introduction-

Students learned about the development of the 1 point perspective drawing technique during the European Renaissance

Students were shown examples of how one point perspective can add depth, and detail, to drawings and paintings
 

B. Development-

1 Demo drawing w/ direct instruction
 

C. Practice-

1. "Woodside" practice worksheet
 

D. Independent Practice-

1.Research and develop word and images for drawing
2. Produce practice drawing for teacher approval
 

E. Accommodations (Differentiated Instruction)-

1. Lettering may be drawn freehand or traced from printed material
2. Project can be broken into smaller steps for students having difficulty with the technical challenges of the drawing
 

F. Checking for understanding-

1. Teacher walks around room to check drawing accuracy and help individuals
2. Practice drawing is reviewed by teacher before paper for the final drawing is given
 

G. Closure-

1. Cleanup
2.Comments on class progress and time remaining for the project.
 
7. Evaluation-
Requirements:

-proper use of 1 point perspective (space) 25 points

-use of line, value, texture, & shape to embellish and enhance drawing (15 points)

-craftsmanship (10 points)
