Fashion Design Collection: Mood Board, Fabric Board,Fashion Croquis,Flats, Customer Profile, Freedom of Expression , Good & Evil Show
 
3. Goals: Aims/Outcomes-
1. Collect all class work from bulletin boards.
2. Put in sheet protectors
3. Put in binder
 
4. Objectives-
•Portfolio is important tool which displays your work
•Shows off your skills and knowledge
•Needed for interviews for colleges, internships, and jobs
 
5. Materials and Aids-
Black binders, acetate sheet protectors, printer
 
6. Procedures/Methods-

A. Introduction-

Now that the show is over, you need to gather your classwork into a portfolio.
 

B. Development-

1. Take Fashion Collection from bulletin board
2.Put in correct order:
Mood Board, Fabric Page, Croquis sketches, flats and customer profile
3. Put in acetate sleeves and in binder
4. Choose the best sketches from sketch book assignment which is displayed in B-bldg hall.
5. Make sure they have back view and swatch.
Place in acetate and binder
6. Print pictures of your garments from both fashion shows.
7. Or put on dress forms and take front & back of each garment for portfolio
 

C. Practice-

D. Independent Practice-

same as above
 

E. Accommodations (Differentiated Instruction)-

This is a task that everyone can do. If a late entry student does not have artwork for portfolio, they can just put sewing assignments in portfolio.
 

F. Checking for understanding-

Go around to each student to see if they are placing work on both sides of acetate and that the spreads look good together.Also stick with the correct order: Collection, Sketches,Garments
 

G. Closure-

Collect the binders at end of class so I can review. Do not let them take the work home yet. When I get the pictures from show I can print for them.
 
7. Evaluation-
I will review each portfolio tomorrow to make sure the work is displayed in best possible way.
