The Students will be able to:
1. Identify characteristics of the four basic personality types.
2.Explain why productive groups are made up of a variety of personality types. Identification.
3.Describe ways to diffuse personality conflicts in a group.
4. Explain the concept of work.
5. Determine economic utilities created by business activities.
6. Complete personality assessments.
7. Analyze their personality traits and how they help in identifying future careers.
8. Discuss the reasons why people work

6. Procedures/Methods-

A. Introduction-

1.Read and discuss article: Are summer jobs a thing of the past?

2. Discussion Starter: Why are summer jobs a thing of the past.
3. Students will write a RACE
 

B. Development-

1. I will demonstrate to students how to write a race.
2. I will lecture while showing students how to take notes on a graphic organizer
3. The lecture will address the required vocabulary for the lesson.
 

C. Practice-

1. I will show students how to complete assessments and complete graphs.
 

D. Independent Practice-

1. Students will work on individual graphs and analyze their personality assessments
 

E. Accommodations (Differentiated Instruction)-

1. ESL students will be placed next to dual language students
2. SPED students will sit toward the front of the class where they can see the smart board easily and follow along with ease.
3. I will use graphic organizers to organize information.
 

F. Checking for understanding-

1. I will walk around the classroom to ensure all students are on task and understand directions.
2. I will assist students who need further help in completing their personality assessments.
3. I will encourage students as they analyze their data.
 

G. Closure-

1. I will review the lesson objectives and vocabulary
2. Students will share what they discovered about their personality.
