Subject: Language Arts
Students will learn the effective use and proper use of adjectives.

Expected Outcome Of This Lesson Plan-
1.Student will integrate the use of adjectives in their daily writing.
2.Students will learn how to properly use, and identify adjectives
3.Students will provide more description to their complete sentences through techniques such as, exaggeration dealing with adjectives.
Teacher Objectives-
1.Identify an adjective
2.Understand where to place an adjective
3.Properly use an adjective in a complete sentence.
Pencil,Paper for students.
The instructor will need a chalk, or dry erase board with chalk or a marker.
Teaching Methods-

1. Lesson Introduction-

1.Explain why we use adjectives.
2.Show how adjectives are used in a relevant text.
3.Show how dull text would be without adjectives.

2. Lesson Progression-

1.Instructors will describe themselves with one word adjectives
2.Form sentences with the adjective.
3.Add/delete adjectives and explain how it changes the dynamics of the sentence.

3. Guided Practice-

1.Students will share adjectives about themselves with a partner
2.Student will come up with adjectives about the weather
3.Each group will share at least 3 examples.

4. Student Practice-

1.Students will pick 3 adjectives shared
2.Form 3 complete sentences using the adjectives.
3.Read sentences out loud or for instructor for corrections.

5. Learner Accommodations-

1.If student does not have previous knowledge of adjectives, provide a list.
2.If a student cannot speak have them partner with another student for the verbal activity.
3. If a student is more of a visual learner have students act out sentences.

6. Assessment-

1.Have students write one of their sentences on the board.
2. Have another student identify the adjective.
3. Reinforce the purpose of adjectives by explaining the significance of them.

7. Lesson Closure-

1. Explain how effective the way something is described changes the importance.
2. Every noun probably needs an adjective for effective writing.
Measuring Student Progress-
1.Are Students are more descriptive in their writings
2.Are students using adjectives in their language?
