Expected Outcome Of This Lesson Plan-
1.To prepare students to write an autobiography through visual and symbolic activities
2.To allow students to link words and symbols as they negotiate their understanding of important events in their lives
3. to enhance students' abilities to think beyond the literal.
 
Teacher Objectives-
1.2.1 Write autobiographical narratives
a. Relate a sequence of events and communicate the significance of the events to the audience.
b. Locate scenes and incidents in specific places.
c. Describe with concrete sensory details the sights, sounds, and smells of a scene and the specific actions, movements, gestures, and feelings of the characters;

d. Make effective use of descriptions of appearance, images, shifting perspectives, and sensory details.

1.Collect Mandalas and put questions on each student's circle so that they have direction on beginning the writing portion of the autobiography.
 

7. Lesson Closure-

1.Have each student explain one symbol they chose to include on mandala.
 
Measuring Student Progress-
1. The presite will be examined but no grade will be assigned.
