Handouts, Video, PowerPoint
 
6. Procedures/Methods-

A. Introduction-

1.Read the city names and see the images from PowerPoint
2.Watch the video about some of the cities
 

B. Development-

1.Read the text on the handouts
2.Answer the questions about the text
3.Fill in the blanks in the exercise with the correct words
 

C. Practice-

1.The students will prepare dialogues as pairs
2.Continues practice of their conversation
 

D. Independent Practice-

1.The students will write a paragraph about a city at home
(assigned for the next week)
 

E. Checking for understanding-

1.Listen to check if they use the new words correctly in their dialogues.
 

F. Closure-

1.Write on the board "which city is this?" Choose a student. The student will describe the city he/she chooses with there is/there are sentences and other students will guess.
 
7. Evaluation-
1.Students will bring the homework assigned for the next week
2.They are able to describe the cities and the cultures with their own sentences
 
8. Teacher Reflection-
The lesson went very well and the students worked effectively with each other. According to the homework, the teacher will notice if any student needs extra practice. Next week, the teacher will continue with the next chapter.
