6. Procedures/Methods-

A. Introduction-

1.Show a picture of myself and say:"This is me" " My name is...."
 

B. Development-

1.Ask learners what their names are.
2.They must copy what I am saying
3.Practice saying the
4.phrase, show sentence strip and read the phrase.
5.Show pictures of body parts
6.When they can show and recognize body parts then introduce it's name.
 

C. Practice-

1.Repeat sentences a few times.
2.Learners write sentence on paper and read.
3. Show pictures of body parts and labels.
4.Learners identify labels.
 

D. Independent Practice-

1.Learners recognize sentence and words from passage.
2.Pictures of body parts and they match the word to the picture.
 

E. Checking for understanding-

1.Ask them the questions: What is your name? They must now tell you their name is .....
2. Show picture of the body and ask which body part you are showing and if they can recognize the name.
 

F. Closure-

1.Learners must practice at home.
2. Give pictures and labels to match at home.
 
7. Evaluation-
1.Orally - Learners must be able to ask questions and when teacher asks question they must be able to answer
2.Practically - Learner must point to body part as teacher names it.
