Cadets will learn how to prevent and treat burns, be able to recognise
the different types of burns and recognise the severity of a burn.

Cadets will learn how to Manage and Treat a variety of bites and stings. |

Demonstrate to cadets the 4 steps to managing a burn.
2.
Demonstrate to cadets the management for the different treatments
for different burns.
3.
Demonstrate to cadets treatment for a red back spider bite, snake
bite, bee sting and wasp sting. |

A. Introduction-
1. Introduce the topic Burns. Read a little bit about burns (PG
224)
2. Introduce the topic Bites and Stings. Read a bit about bites and
stings on (PG 336)
3. Go over prevention for both, then management and treatment. |
