3. Goals: Aims/Outcomes-
|
Students will determine how eating properly affects their looks,
health, and daily lives in general. They will be able to make sensible
food choices that will enhance their well being overall. |

4. Objectives-
|
TLW determine how healthy food affects all aspects of your daily
life, differences between appetite and hunger, and make choices for
healthy meals and snacks. |

5. Materials and Aids-
|
power point presentation, handouts, worksheets, elmo for demonstrations,
food items |

6. Procedures/Methods-
|
A. Introduction-
Students will make a list of their ten favorite and least favorite
foods, provide explanations why, then determine if the foods are healthy
or not using the food labels. |
|
|
B. Development-
Students will be provided with a list of words and asked to define
them based on their own knowledge. Then they will be provided a list
of definitions and asked to find the correct word w/o assistance. |
|
|
C. Practice-
Students will watch a power point presentation and have 10 minutes
to summarize the main points. Questions and Answers regarding the
information will follow a general discussion. |
