|
Abstinence is the key to prevent unwanted or accidental pregnancy.
But if you are to have sex we will explain the safe ways to go about
it. |

3. Goals: Aims/Outcomes-
|
1. Try to get the students to reframe from sex.
2. Teach them the proper ways to use pregnancy prevention methods
if they are to have sex.
3. Try to get them to understand the responsibilities and consequences
in having sex. |

|
4. Objectives-
|
1. Try to persuade the students to know that the safest way to avoid
pregnancy and any STIs or STDs is to not partake in sexual activities
at all.
2. Get the students to learn and know useful strategies to avoid pregnancy
and any STIs or STDs if they are already having sex or want to peruse
a sexual relationship.
3. Provide the students with enough information to make smart educated
and well informed decisions when sex or sex related topics comes up
in their lives. |

5. Materials and Aids-

games/male and female condoms/videos/birth control pills/STI,STD
and pregnancy prevention items |

6. Procedures/Methods-
|
A. Introduction-
1. Gage what the students know about sex, pregnancy, STIs and STDs.
2. Try to expand on what the students already know and dismiss myths
and false stories they might have and believe.

|
B. Development-
1. Show the students how to properly use some of the STD, STI, and
pregnancy prevention materials.
2. Show videos of the negatives of unprotected sex and list the penalties
that may be a result of the actions.
3. Explain the informed ways to go about having sex if the students
are already sexually active. |

C. Practice-
1. Do activities in class to help try and mold an automatic response
that students will have when asked about sex.
2. Put commonly asked or pondered questions on the work sheets the
students will receive and answer them correctly.
3. Have open class discussions (with parameters and control of the
class) so that the students will all have the opportunity to ask a
question and have it answered or get the explanation on a answer they
didn't completely understand. |

1. Review work with students
2. Allow make ups (if necessary)
3. Gage understanding now from when the class first started. |

F. Closure-
1. Double back and ask the same questions to the class as was done
in the beginning of the class (class should be able to answer more
questions correctly).

7. Evaluation-
|
Give out grades on the topic covered. Measure knowledge at the end
of the lesson to see what was learned. |

|
