A. Introduction-

1.ask students if they can put up their hand if they know how old the toohbrush is
2. share interesting facts
-how old the toothbrush is
-before toothpaste was invented what people used
 

B. Development-

1.ask students to list the names of toothpastes they are familiar with
2.write the names of the toothpaste brand on the board
3.ask if they recall any TV commercials they have seen
-how do the toothpaste look or taste differently from one another
-how did the commercials present the toothpaste to the audience
-what did the commercials say or do to get people to buy the toothpaste
-what key words or slogans might those ads have included
3.explain that they will be creating their own toothpaste brand
4. hand out the questions on paper for them to answer about their toothpaste brand
5.have them get started answering the questions
6. from questions have them create their own toothpaste brand
