3. Goals: Aims/Outcomes-
1.By the end of the week, students will be able to perform a dialog mentioning their birthdays dates in oral proficiency form, associating ordinal numbers, days of the week, and months of the year during the interaction in class.
 
4. Objectives-
Students will able to identify events and celebrations from principal months of the year, as soon as, they will able to change information about their birthdates through interaction.
Students will able to identify the difference between natural numbers and ordinal numbers.
 
5. Materials and Aids-
*Flashcards of holidays of the year.
*Labels of holidays` written dates.
*A calendar photocopy.
*A ball to play hot potato game.
 
6. Procedures/Methods-

A. Introduction-

"seven days of the week" song
 

B. Development-

1.A short description of holidays during the year

Teacher describes holidays and activities people perform in specific events through Flashcards in order from January to December months.
 

C. Practice-

1.Ordinal numbers activity

Students label holiday's images through a selection of a label with a written date from the whiteboard.
 

D. Independent Practice-

1.A photocopy with a calendar to complete students' birthdates.

Students ask each other around the classroom for information to write down their birthdates.
 

E. Accommodations (Differentiated Instruction)-

other students would prefer to elaborate a project in small groups to create a calendar with the most principal events during the year.
 

F. Checking for understanding-

Students use a questioning each other to get their classmates information birthdates.
 

G. Closure-

students are able to ask and answer to their classmates questions using the grammatical structures, such as:
"when is your birthday?"
"my birthday is on..."
 
7. Evaluation-
1.the right use of grammatical structures.
2.the performance of the students`dialog interview.
3. the way students link ordinal numbers to mention their birthdates.
 
8. Teacher Reflection-
As teacher I could find some problems between natural numbers and ordinal numbers which they have already learnt in a classes before.
