A. Introduction-
| Today we'll be writing in our journals about the wonderful Thanksgiving
feast and break we had with our family and friends. You'll want to
write a sentence or two about your break and draw a picture to go
along with it. |

B. Development-
Example: My family had a big turkey at Thanksgiving and all my family
and friends had a nice feast.
The words I want you to use will be written on the board, but don't
forget to use the word wall for other words you may have forgotten
over break. |

D. Independent Practice-
| Homework will be to read your journal writings to 5 people to show
them how much you enjoyed Thanksgiving. |

| Those who do not of people readily available will be allowed to
read their writings to faculty and staff with in the school. |
