Subject: Etiquette
1. Topic-
The Students will learn how to dress and act when in a formal setting.
 
2. Content-
The students will complete worksheets and they will do self guided research.
 
3. Goals: Aims/Outcomes-
1.Learn what top say and not to say
2.key vocabulary (yes ma'am , no ma'am)
3. How to dress in formal attire
 
4. Objectives-
1.They will learn to do self guided research.
2.They will sit still and work on the paper, quietly.
 
5. Materials and Aids-
I have typed up a worksheet asking different questions on appearance and vocab.
 
6. Procedures/Methods-

A. Introduction-

1.Tell them to find a seat with a laptop.
2.Let them know what we will be doing over the class period
3. Walk around and help them answer questions.
 

C. Practice-

1.They will demonstrate what they have learned at the dinner.
2. Practice independent work
 

D. Accommodations (Differentiated Instruction)-

1. Students may work quietly with other students
2.We will go over the answers at the end of class.
 

E. Closure-

1.I am going to tell the students the date of the dinner and remind them once more.
2. I will dismiss them and inform them that next class will be out last.
 
7. Evaluation-
1. I feel like the students learned a lot and I am very happy with the way they behaved.
2.It went a lot smoother then I exacted. I expected them to e rowdy since I gave them some space to teach themselves but they did their work, as asked.
 
8. Teacher Reflection-
I have come a long way as a teacher because the students were well; behaved, I cant help but think that it was because of the new teaching skills that I have obtained. The kids participated in the worksheet and I think that everyone in the room learned a lot, myself included.
