Subject: Etiquette
1. Topic-
How to properly use your table utensils.
 
2. Content-
The Students will fill out a worksheet that goes along with a video. Then they will play and acting game.
 
3. Goals: Aims/Outcomes-
1.The students will be reminded hot to behave.
2. They will learn new things such as how to use their fork and knife.
3. The students will also learn table etiquette (first thing you do when you arrive at the table.
 
4. Objectives-
1. I want them to be prepared for how the table is going to be set up.
2. They will be able to get out of their seat and goof off during the last class.
 
5. Materials and Aids-
I have a video and a worksheet to go along with it. I also have strips with different etiquette scenarios on them.
 
6. Procedures/Methods-

A. Introduction-

1. I am going to discuss what we are doing in class.
2. I am going to play the video and then go over the answers.
 

B. Practice-

1. The students are going to use this at the dinner.
2. They can even use it at their own dinner table.
 

C. Accommodations (Differentiated Instruction)-

1. The students will be able to tell which scenario the other students are acting out.
2. Some students will act more then others, because of their personality.
3.
 

D. Closure-

1. I will remind the students of their dinner
2. I will dismiss them and as I am doing so I will hand out their invitations.
 
7. Evaluation-
1. The students enjoyed getting out of their chairs.
2. The students did not get too rowdy during the activity, we even almost went over class time.
 
8. Teacher Reflection-
I am so happy with the way this last class ended. I got to see them have fun and enjoy my class. it was the most perfect way to end the year.
