A. Introduction-
1. Can you recall when you had your first piece of cake?
2. When do we typically eat or cook cake?
3. What type of feeling do you get when you see your parents baking
a cake or when you are eating cake? |

B. Development-
1. Students will listen to the teacher read Flicka, Ricka, Dicka
Bake a Cake
2. Students will recall how Flicka, Ricka, Dicka baked their cake.
3.Students will watch the teacher go through the steps of baking the
cake while making the correlation to the book. |

C. Practice-
1. Students are to call out the step that Flicka, Ricka, Dicka took
during their cake making process.
2. After the student watch the teacher demonstration students will
recite the steps the teacher took to make his/her cake.
3. Student will be placed in a group to discuss how to make a cake.

D. Independent Practice-
1. Students are to write down the ingredients needed to bake a cake
2. The students are to gather all the ingredients needed to make a
