Thinkfinity Morning, Noon, and Night worksheet
 
6. Procedures/Methods-

A. Introduction-

1.Tell me about a typical school day. What do you do when you first wake up? (I will write down answers on smart board.)
2. Can we break this up into different parts of the day? (Draw lines where the students direct to make morning, afternoon, and evening)
3. "Now we will see what the Grouchy Ladybug does in the morning, afternoon, and evening."
 

B. Development-

1. Can we break this up into different parts of the day? (Draw lines where the students direct to make morning, afternoon, and evening)
2."Now we will see what the Grouchy Ladybug does in the morning, afternoon, and evening."
 

C. Practice-

1.While reading the book we will talk about the time the clock says and what time of the day it is.
2. I will write on the Smartboard one thing that the Grouchy Ladybug did in the morning, afternoon, and evening.
 

D. Independent Practice-

1. Students will go back to their seat and write another thing that the Grouchy Ladybug did in the morning, afternoon, and evening on the worksheet.
 

E. Accommodations (Differentiated Instruction)-

1. The ELL students will not be expected to write sentences, they may draw pictures or write phrases.
2. If students finish early they can write more than one thing that the grouchy ladybug did.
 

F. Checking for understanding-

1. We will share one of the things the Grouchy Ladybug did and what time of day he did it.
2. We will talk about the answers to determine if they are true or false.
 

G. Closure-

1. Why is it important to tell time?
2. How can we tell time?
3. Review objectives for today.
 
7. Evaluation-
Students were able to identify the time of the day
