1.The students will learn more spelling words by spelling the words in the shaving cream.
2.The students will identify by sight, words for the story: big, little, that, is, many.
3.The students will read the story and compare things that are big and little using the picture cards.
4.The students will share in a group one thing that is big and one that is little.
5.The students will understand the positional vocab words: by, in, under, on , right, left, corner, middle, below, inside, and above.
6.The students will get a better understanding of the vocab words by playing two vocab game.
-The kids will learn
cooperative learning by playing the game "sparkle"

6. Procedures/Methods-

A. Introduction-

1.Spelling game:children spell different words given by teacher using shaving cream
 

B. Development-

1.Pass out pictures that the children put into "big" and "little" categories
2. Pass out story and read it with the children
3. Ask class what other things are big and little
 

C. Practice-

Playing all of the games
 

D. Independent Practice-

1.spelling words
2.flashcards (in,on,under)
 

E. Accommodations (Differentiated Instruction)-

1.If a child does not understand, then we will explain it in a different way by using different examples
 

F. Checking for understanding-

1.Reading with the children
2.Walking around classroom when they put pictures in categories and when they spell with shaving cream
