2. Game - Simon Says
a. Teacher asked students if they know how to play "Simon Says" and ask a student to explain the rules.
b. Student explains the game to the rest of the class in either English or Korean.
c. Play the game
 

B. Development-

Prelude 1.Look and Guess
a. Students look at the pictures on pg. 30-31
b. Students try to predict what is happening.
c. Students watch a brief animation on the CD-ROM.
Prelude 2.Fun Talk 1
a. Students look at the pictures on pg. 32
b. Students try to predict what is happening.
c. Students watch a brief animation on the CD-ROM and see how well they predicted the story.
1.Fun Talk 2
a. Students look and the pictures and try to guess whats going on.
b. Students watch animation
c. Students answer questions about Animation.
2.Listen and Do.
Students listen to instructions and mark the right picture.
3. Listen and Repeat 2
A. Mrs. Han: Andy, sit down please.
Andy: Yes, Mrs. Han
B. Andy:Stand up, Bora!
Minu,Lucy: Bora, stand up!
Bora: (Gets up)
C. Lucy: Bora, close your eyes!
Bora: Close my eyes?
Lucy: Open your mouth.
(Students work together and practice these dialogues but using each others names)

Whisper Game
a. Students form a number of teams.
b. One teacher shows the person at the end of the line a command. ex. Sit down.
Each student then whispers sit down to the next person until they reach the beginning of the line. That person must then touch the right picture on the board.
winning team gets a point.

Part 2:

1. Listen and Repeat
1.
Mr. Green: Touch your nose. (Everyone touches their nose)
2. Mr. Green: Touch your mouth. (Bora touches her Eyes)
3. Mr. Green: Touch your eyes. (Bora is out and Andy touches his ears.)

2.Talk and Play 1
Students are each given copy of 46 from The teacher's resource book and the group is give a few copies of pg. 47
a. Play face rock-paper-scissors
Rock- closed mouth
Paper- open mouth
Scissors- Stick out tongue.
the loser is it.
b. Loser tells the others what to do.
"Touch your ..." the other players try to be the first flyer to touch the right part of the face. The winner gets to put that part on their face. The winner is the first person to get all the parts.
The players play face rock paper scissors each turn to see who is it.
c. Students play the game

 

D. Closure-

1.Goodbye class/Goodbye teacher
2.Pass word- Students make two lines. Students in one line give commands. Touch your ....
While the other student follows. If they are both right they leave the room.
