Subject: French - Language Leaders
1. Topic-
To Teach Primary School Students about French Foods
 
2. Content-
To get the pupils to have a greater understanding of French Foods and widen their current vocabulary currently on the subject.
 
3. Goals: Aims/Outcomes-
1.Have the students widen their understanding
2.Increase their confidence levels when talking in a different language
3.Be able to speak somewhat fluent.
 
4. Objectives-
1. To gain full control over the students
2.To keep them well behaved
3.Keep them focused and on task at all times
 
5. Materials and Aids-
Projector, Smart Board, Laptop, Internet Connection, Paper, Card, Pens, Pencils, Flash Player installed on the laptop, worksheet, PowerPoint
 
6. Procedures/Methods-

A. Introduction-

Get the students to create
name cards so that we can get to know them easier.
 

B. Development-

Show them the PowerPoint that we created on foods and keep repeating the words in different ways to keep the students awake and focussed and also entertained.
 

C. Practice-

Get them to understand it more by using a bean bag passing it around the classroom.
 

D. Independent Practice-

In two's get the students to complete the worksheet on Foods.
 

E. Accommodations (Differentiated Instruction)-

- N/A
 

F. Checking for understanding-

Play the assigned games on Linguascope to further embed to knowledge into their brains.
 

G. Closure-

Get them to see how much they can remember by recording it onto the main whiteboard.
