1.The aim of this lesson is to discover the Philippine Festivals
and Tourist Spots.
2.To explore the native cultures of the Philippines through celebrations
like the festivals.
3.To recognize the beauty of Philippine tourist spots. |

4. Objectives-
|
1.After completing the lesson, the student will be able to discuss
the Philippine Festivals and Tourist Spots.
2.After completing the lesson,the student will be able to show the
pictures of the Philippine Festivals and Tourist Spots.
3.After completing the lesson, the student will be able to identify
the places in which they belong to. |

5. Materials and Aids-
|
6 posters(pictures of Philippine Festivals and Tourist Spots), scissors,
color pencils, illustration board, glue, scotch tape, colored papers
and other art materials that can be use. |

|
6. Procedures/Methods-
|
A. Introduction-
1. The students will be group into two groups. I will show the pictures
of the Philippine Festivals and Tourist Spots and they will try to
identify what place they belong to.
2. each group will be given strips of pictures and they will try to
assemble it like a puzzle. |
|
|
B. Development-
The concept can be enhance through demonstrations, portrays and
puzzles using the materials to be used. |
|
|
C. Practice-
1.The students will try to identify places where the different festivities
are celebrated and the different location of the famous tourist spot
in the Philippines.
2. Right after, each group will be given an activity to assemble a
certain picture and we will call it the puzzle game.
3. Lastly, when they finished the game, they will identify the picture
that they have assembled. |

D. Accommodations (Differentiated Instruction)-
If the students have difficulty in understanding the concept, I
would incorporate a physical activity such as charade game. |

E. Checking for understanding-
Understanding can be assessed in a multitude of ways. |
|
|
Closure-
Student should retell what the topic of the day was. Also, walk
them step by step through homework (make sure they use vocabulary
words) |
