1. Learn comprehension and learn that there are different cultures
and languages.

|
| Smartboard. Rosetta Stone. Computers. Leapstar. |

6. Procedures/Methods-
|
|
A. Introduction-
1. The teacher will put the different colors on the board and the
Spanish names of the colors.
|

|
|
B. Development-
1. The teacher will put the correct names with the correct colors
and say the names out loud. I will then have the students repeat the
Spanish names with me and then the English name after.

C. Practice-
| 1. Teacher will review this several times with students. |
| |
|
|
D. Independent Practice-
| 1. Students will get to use the computers and go on Rosetta Stone
or Leapstar to practice the colors. |

E. Accommodations (Differentiated Instruction)-
| 1. If I have a Spanish speaking student already, I will have them
help a student who is having trouble or is handicapped. |

F. Checking for understanding-
| 1. I will have a worksheet for the students to fill out to see if
they learned the colors in Spanish. |

G. Closure-
| 1. I will have the students repeat the colors in Spanish. |

7. Evaluation-
|
| 1. I will give the students a quiz on the colors. |

8. Teacher Reflection-
|
| Next time I will have a Spanish speaking student help me. I think
it will be exciting for them and not have them be so bored since they
already know the colors in Spanish. |
