A. Introduction-
| Teacher will explain what homophones are and give examples. |

B. Development-
1. Teacher will read the story "Dear Deer" to the class.
2. Students will then start making their "Pair of Pears" books. |

C. Practice-
1. After "Dear Deer" book has been read to class, teacher will explain
how to make the "Pair of Pears" project.
2. Students will match picture cards.
3. Students will complete an exercise worksheet on homophones. |

| Students will complete homophone worksheets and play a matching
game with picture cards. |
