2. Content-
The student uses letter-sound knowledge to decode written English. The students uses self-correction when reading. The student reads with a rhythm, flow, and meter that sounds like everyday speech.
 
3. Goals: Aims/Outcomes-
1.The student will be able to read in the range of 95%.
2.The student will read in a way that makes meaning clear to listeners.
3.The student should be able to apply an image to the story while reading it.
 
4. Objectives-
1.The student will be able to communicate in a correctly way.
2.The student will be able to expand their knowledge and see "outside the box".
3.The student will be able to understand, as well as write, the meaning of words in book.
 
5. Materials and Aids-
Book,Internet access, Paper and pencils.
 
6. Procedures/Methods-

A. Introduction-

1.Start reading as a group.
2.Break it down to partnership.
3.Finally do individual reading.
 

B. Development-

1.While reading, explain foreshadows and other literary terms,also work with vocabulary.
2.Work on the imagination of students to be able to apply an image to the book.
3.Do small small plays to work with the rhythm and flow of the book.
 

C. Practice-

1.Read aloud in class.
2.Do vocabulary words that are found in book.
3.Give pretest online over the chapters read.
 

D. Independent Practice-

1.Read certain chapter at home as assignment.
2.Do journals of the story as the reading continues.
3.Do flash cards of the story words in different styles to acknowledge the rhythm.
 

E. Accommodations (Differentiated Instruction)-

1.Help students with the reading issues.
2.Help students find all of the vocabulary words in the book.
3.Give them extra time in class to be able to finish the assignment.
 

F. Checking for understanding-

1.Draw down in paper the image they apply to the book.
2.Take a pretest of every chapter.
3.Write a brief story of what they understand the story is about.
 

G. Closure-

1.Take a test of the whole story.
2.Do a play to see how well they understand it.
 
7. Evaluation-
1.Check how well the students' reading progress developed as well as their pronunciation.
2.Check if the student is able to understand and see the differences between an age-level book to advance books.
 
8. Teacher Reflection-
See if the students can read accurately and in a clear way to be understood. Also read with in different styles, sounds like in everyday speech. Acknowledge that there's different activities for a certain unit that all students will learn and remember.
