A. Introduction-
The term "femme fatale" is defined as a French phrase with the literal
translation of "fatal woman." A femme fatale is a sensuous, alluring
woman who often leads men into danger or trouble. Being attractive,
sexy, seductive, but ultimately dangerous are all key characteristics
of a femme fatale. The term has existed in one form or another in
nearly all cultures (and different literature's) throughout history.
The "femme fatale" represents a threat to the traditional female gender
roles, and female independence. |

to 'femme fatale.' |
