Class discussion of:
1. chapter content (fill in overhead throughout)
2. characterization
 

B. Development-

Tuesday:
1. I act out Katie's point of view towards Johny's drinking bring.
2. Small groups answer characterization handouts.
3.Whole class discussion (Wednesday)
 

C. Practice-

Thursday:
Groups diagramming of the relationship between characters on sidewalk
 

D. Independent Practice-

Friday due:
1.Write music expressing Franci's feeling during the eraser episode
2.Write a script and/or dress up and act out a scene
3.Do an interview with one of the "characters" in the text
 

E. Accommodations (Differentiated Instruction)-

1.visual aids-Powerpoints/overhead etc.
