6. Procedures/Methods-
|
A. Introduction-
When we read documents of any type, we should have in mind that
everything that an author writes about in a document is not always
the reality of things or the truth of life. We should start to question
those ideas up to the point to compare them and reflect upon them.
In a way to express out our opinions of disagreements or agreements
of it. |
|
|
B. Development-
1. Students should read a short story online.
2. Have a group discussion of the short story so all students can
participate in class.
3. Browse the Internet to find any interpretation or analysis of the
short story. |
|
|
C. Practice-
1.After the discussion and seeing different analysis of the short
story students should write their own short story so that their creativity
stimulates.
2. Then they should share their stories so that they can read other
students stories in class.
3. Students should write a reflection upon one of the stories of another
student. This would be an in- class assignment. |
|
|
D. Independent Practice-
1.Students should apply what they learn in class from the activities
and tasks.Students should look in the Internet for a blog of another
student that they don't know. I will provide them the links of different
blogs of students in the same grade.
2. They should read the blog of one student and comment on it.
3. Then they should print the blog and bring it to class as an assignment
so that I can see their contribution in it and I will evaluate the
progress in the application of their knowledge. |
|
|
E. Accommodations (Differentiated Instruction)-
1. If students don't know how to use a computer they will be tutorials
in school to help them on working with a computer.
2.I will crate a presentation PowerPoint with the instructions of
any assignment that is due using technology.
3. I will provide videos with tutorials of how to browse in the Internet
and how to use a blog. |
|
|
F. Checking for understanding-
1. Check the assignments that they give me.
2. If I see any errors in the assignments I will review in class the
instructions and tell them where did they made a mistake.
3.I will give them the opportunity and time to correct the errors
so they can correct them and handed in later. |
|
|
G. Closure-
1. We will have a discussion in class about the things that students
learn of the topic and assignments.
2. The students will have the chance to evaluate what things they
like about the class and the things that they would change about class
and the way I teach. |
|
|
7. Evaluation-
|
1.I will have a rubric to evaluate students progress in the assignments.
2. Student participation in class will count as one grade. |
|
|
8. Teacher Reflection-
|
I will read the evaluations of the students in terms of the class
and the way I give it, if they want me to change something I will
make the arrangements to change it. It will be like a personal reflection
of the students evaluations. This will be done each year so I can
improve myself. |
