6. Procedures/Methods-
|

A. Introduction-
1. I will explain to the student the focus of the activity:Expressive
Language and Communication.
2.Also, expressive language skills are very important in daily life.
Through learning how to use expressive language, you will have more
success in communicating with others and seeking out social interactions.
You will also have the opportunity to directly communicate with professional
personnel like me as it may help you make progress in the general
education curriculum

B. Development-
1. I will first give a verbal explanation about the task while using
a checklist.
2. I will model and demonstrate the task by using a black sharpie
to write on the easel board.
3. I will hang my demonstration for reference. |

C. Practice-
1. I will guide the student through the activity by reading step
by step instructions and have him read them back to show understanding.
2. I will read aloud all the rules.
3. I will review my instructions. |

D. Independent Practice-
1. The student will write on his own as a monitor.
2. The student will read the rule aloud before moving on to the next
one. |

E. Accommodations (Differentiated Instruction)-
1.allowed extra time for the student to respond.

1. I will observe the student to see if he's writing the rule correctly
and listen to him read the rule completely.
2.give a token for every rule read aloud. |
