Warm-Up: Answer questions 1-5 from the Reading Between the Lines
handout.
Use share-out for review of Warm-Up. |

B. Development-
1.Review BCR format (ICE) and BCR organizer to this point
2.Hand out the Using Inference worksheet and provide info for completion.
3.Work with students, using think-aloud, to develop and support inferences |

1.Hand out the Inference Paragraph Practice sheet
2.Read each passage and have students complete (p.29)
3.Discuss responses afterward
4.Have students complete p.30 independently
