Blog & Pod-casts on Literary Figures |

2. Content-
|
Group Activity:
Students should use the web, digital-library, online magazines, ebooks,
digital newspaper, etc... to make a list and research information
on at least four literary figures. Students shall compare and contrast
and establish the impact or influence each literary figure has made.
These should be uploaded and discussed in the class blog and/or pod
cast created for the class. |

3. Goals: Aims/Outcomes-

1. Inspire in each student an interest for the literary genre.
2. Achieve cultural diversity through literature and technology.
3. Have students appreciate the richness of literature.

4. Objectives-
|
1. Students will have not only a significant modern learning experience
but a blog or pod cast they created and can have access to at any
moment.
2. Other students can benefit from these tools of information as well.
3. Students will feel a lot more motivated to learn and take an interest
into the material because of the modernity of the assignment. |

5. Materials and Aids-
|
1. Literary Books
2. Computer labs and/or libraries
3. Internet
4. Digital magazines, books, newspapers, etc..
5. Smart boards, Projector
6. Microphones and speakers
5. Literary Encyclopedias
6. Any other helpful material |

6. Procedures/Methods-
|
A. Development-
Assign four literary figures by every two students.
This shall ensure collaborative skill development while fomenting
the learning process.
Provide as many resources, information and helpful details as possible
as means to ensure a successful learning process.
Provide as much support and help throughout process.
Ensure all information is accurate and ready.
Follow by typing in Microsoft Word to be published or uploaded soon
after.
If chose podcast may still follow same procedure.
Design a blog as a class.
Have each group post each one of their documents as individual comments. |

7. Evaluation-
|
Students shall be evaluated on having AT LEAST three sources one
of which shall NOT be a virtual source.
These shall consist of AT LEAST five paragraphs. First paragraph shall
be the introduction following three body paragraphs and lastly a concluding
paragraph. These may be brief.
The information shall be exposed in a truthful and accurate manner.
It is a group actrivity. All should interact and actively participate.
To ensure this there will be two evaluation rubrics.
One will be an auto evaluation and the other a peer evaluation. |
