6. Procedures/Methods-

A. Introduction-

1.Teacher shows her family photos to students.
2.Teacher tries to describe them.
3.Teacher ask her students to put their family photos on their desks.
 

B. Development-

1.Teacher shows a video about family members.
2.Teacher teaches the names of family members by using the students' book.
3.Teacher writes the names of the family members on the board in the shape of small family tree.
 

C. Practice-

1.Students will do the exercises on the students' book.
2.Students will describe their families to teacher.
3.Students will do the exercises on the PC
 

D. Independent Practice-

1.Students will describe their family photos to their friends.
2.Students will draw the pictures of their family members in their notebooks.
 

E. Accommodations (Differentiated Instruction)-

1.Teacher will use the Flashcards about family members in case of technical problems on PC.

 

F. Checking for understanding-

1.Students will make a family tree on their notebooks.
2.Teacher asks her students some questions about family members in order to evaluate their understanding.
 

G. Closure-

1.Teacher summarizes the vocabulary again.
2.Teacher gives information about next class.

1.Teacher asks her students to prepare a project which includes their description of family with their photos.
2.Teacher gives worksheets to their students in order to evaluate their understanding.
 
8. Teacher Reflection-
I think watching videos about the topic was very effective. But drawing pictures took too many time.
