1.To bring understanding to the spelling words.
2.To teach a method on studying for spelling and vocabulary test.
3.To help encourage students on open spelling test. |

4. Objectives-
|
1.To help students develop and become better spellers and readers.
2.To boost the confidence of my students.
3.If students are better readers and understand they are happier with
themselves. |

5. Materials and Aids-
|
| We need and dictionary, a spelling list, note book paper, pencils,
and a willing attitude. |
| |
|
6. Procedures/Methods-
|
|
A. Introduction-
1.The first step we would do and open review as a team/group.
2.We would as a group say the words, spell the words, write the words.
3.We would review the words and the meaning of the words. |

|
B. Development-
1.This method will give children confidence to speak out loud.
2.Children will participate willingly just as they see their peers.
3.Children will become open with me as their teacher.
4.We will use the words in a sentence. |

C. Practice-
1.Say the spelling words.
2.Spell the words.
3.Use the words in a sentence with the correct meaning. |

D. Independent Practice-
1.Write the words 3-5 times each.
2.Say the words aloud, spell, and write the words.
3.Use the words with things around your house. Identify what the words
relate to. |

E. Accommodations (Differentiated Instruction)-
1.If needed will do One on One.
2.Will do Recordings and make sound tapes.
3.What ever needed to accommodate my students. |

F. Checking for understanding-
1.Group lessons each student will review words and sentences.
2.Make a game or singing songs to insure understanding.
3.The Spelling test. |

1.Will give test and Grade the test.
2.Will do open class review of graded test. |

|
1.Weekly test given will be able to track progress.
2.Grading Book will record the grades. |
