A. Introduction-
1.Saying hello
2.Singing the Welcome Song |

B. Development-
1.Students will see a picture of the cartoon in which the students
are using kind and complimentative words.
2. Having the students use this with each other.
3. Following this will be the students working on the who what when
where and why statements.
3. Students will continue to work in pairs to finish the crossword
puzzle.
4. Students will come together with the teacher to answer all the
questions. |

C. Practice-
1.Having the students work together to complete the crossword puzzle
with a pair. |

D. Independent Practice-
1. Answering the crossword puzzle on their own with out the help
of a teacher unless asked. |

E. Accommodations (Differentiated Instruction)-
1.Ask the on-site teacher for assistance with the students when
they are working on the crossword puzzle or the students do not understand
the instructions that I give them.

F. Checking for understanding-
1.Ask the students who were given the instructions for the correct
answer.
2. Later in the 5 w's having the students ask each other the questions. |

1.Informing students that they are doing well and what they have
