TLW review addition and subtraction without regrouping (2-digits), thermometer, time (analog and digital) and place value.

1.TLW know how to add and subtract 2-digit number without regrouping.
2.TLW know how to read a thermometer and tell time on a digital and analog clock.
3.TLW know the place value of numbers up to 3-digits.
 
4. Objectives-
1.Adding and subtracting 2-digit numbers without regrouping.
2.Reading a thermometer and a clock (digital and analog)
3.Know the place value of numbers up to the hundreds.
 
5. Materials and Aids-
Base ten blocks, unifix cubes, large and small Analog clocks, overhead projector, computers and manipulatives.
 
6. Procedures/Methods-

A. Introduction-

1.TTL make a connection between the classroom and the outside world.
2.The importance of passing the benchmark
3.We will review the objectives covered during the 2nd six weeks.
 

B. Development-

1.TTL re-explain how to add and subtract 2-digit numbers without regrouping.
2.How to read a thermometer and a clock.
3. TTL demonstrate the place value chart of numbers up to hundreds place.
 

C. Practice-

1.TLW do basic addition and subtraction using a number line.
2.Science Club will record the temperature for an entire school week.
3.TLW read a clock up to 5 minutes increments.
4.TLW practice place value using a place value chart.
5.Practice the Problem Solving Song and Basic Facts.
 

D. Independent Practice-
