1.Using guided practice to show students the method of using the factor tree
 

D. Independent Practice-

1. Students will attempt to complete the factorization tree worksheet
2. To check for progress, students will complete an exit ticket with 4 questions, to show their progress on the lesson in addition to the worksheet.
 

E. Accommodations (Differentiated Instruction)-

1.Grouping students in different levels to break down instruction
2.Using white boards for visual learners
3.Using paraeducator to work one on one with lower functioning students
 

F. Checking for understanding-

1.Using whiteboards for students to show their answers
2.The exit ticket will be part of checking for understanding at the end to evaluate the lesson and re-teach if necessary

1.Relate to their background knowledge and focus on the times tables
