5. Materials and Aids-
Intelliboard
Dry erase markers/boards/erasers
3 review worksheets (1 per skill)
10 computers

6. Procedures/Methods-

A. Introduction-

1.Student's will complete a warm-up activity based on whole number estimation, place value, etc.
 

B. Development-

1. Student's will be broken up into 4 groups (flexed by data).
2. Student's will be explained each station, what things they need to leave the station with and what needs to be completed
(Station 1: Minilesson w/ Miss Ellis on leading digit and rounding Station 2: Computer video clip on place value followed by a ticket 20 question ticket out Station 3: Computer video clip on Comparing decimals and 20 question ticket out Station 4: Computer station logged onto class blog with practice links.)
 

C. Practice-

1. Students have 10 minutes for each station assignment. Co-teacher/aide (depending on class) monitors and helps 3 stations while main teacher completes mini-lesson
 

D. Independent Practice-

1. Students practice on computers using a manipulative game with instant feedback.
2.Students should develop a question to ask at the end of the class
 

E. Accommodations (Differentiated Instruction)-

1. Lower level class: pick 12 questions on ticket out
2.Lower level class: Aide/Co-teacher accompaniment
 

F. Checking for understanding-

1. Students will be given 5-10 minutes at the end of class for a Q and A session with the teacher (whole class)
2.Quiz the following class
 

G. Closure-

1. Students will turn in ticket out worksheets at the beginning of the quiz.
2.Write down homework: Use ticket out papers to practice and study.
