6. Procedures/Methods-

A. Introduction-

1. Explain the multiples strips and let students cut them out.
2. Practice finding the least common multiple of two numbers using the strips.
 

B. Development-

1.Demonstrate to the students that have trouble how you slide the strips beside each other until you find the first number that is in both strips.
2. Use the strips to find the greatest common factor to reduce the answer to simplest form if needed.
 

C. Practice-

1.Worksheet from Enchanted Learning Adding Fractions #D3
2.Work problems for about 10 minutes.
3. Observe students work for accuracy
 

D. Independent Practice-

1.Ticket out the door cards.
