2. Content-
1. Law of Sine
2. To teach the students the angles of a triangle
3. When to use the Law of Sine |
3. Goals: Aims/Outcomes-
1. To teach the 9th graders
2.To help understand how math can get complicated if you don't pay
attention.
3.To expand your minds and get you ready for a higher math. |
4. Objectives-
1. apply the law of sine to determine the lengths of sides and measures
of angles of a triangle
2.solve problems using the law of sine
5. Materials and Aids-
6. Procedures/Methods-
A. Introduction-
1.we will show and apply the law of sine which is a relationship
among the sides and angles of a triangle.
2.applications will involve solving the triangle, calculating the
lengths of sides and measurements of angles, as well as calculating
the area of a triangle.
B. Development-
C. Practice-
1. Teach the law of sine to the student
2. Help them understand the law of Sine
D. Independent Practice-
1. Give problems and have them solve
2.To get in work groups. |
E. Accommodations (Differentiated Instruction)-
F. Checking for understanding-
Having the teacher check our problem before showing it to the class
G. Closure-
1. To conclude, I hope all students had learned enough about the
law of sines and hopefully you enjoyed of some of what you learned
in our lesson |
Teacher Reflection-
1. How did students respond as you engaged in difference roles thought
out the lesson?
2. What were some ways that students illustrated that they were actively
engaged in the learning progress?
3. What worked with classroom behavior management? What didn't work? |
