3. Goals: Aims/Outcomes-
1.I aim to teach students on graphing and plotting points.
2.I wish too show how to correctly answer and/or create a graph.
3.I will endorse real life equations in this activity. |
4. Objectives-
1.Use graphs to plot on a coordinate plane.
2.Explain a graph.
3. Incorporate real life situation. |
5. Materials and Aids-
1.White boards for each individuals with marker.
2.Examples of charts.
3.Graph paper for plot line graphing.
4.Picture viewer. |
6. Procedures/Methods-
A. Introduction-
1.Show an graph example, make them draw a graph by using the information
on the picture. |
B. Development-
1.After attention grabber, pass the whiteboards to each individuals
with markers.
2.Draw each graph and chart, circle chart, line graph, bar graph.
3.Ask the class which graph and/or chart is called.
C. Practice-
1.Ask each student to draw the graph or chart said. i.e. Draw a
circle graph.
2.You will also draw a graph or chart.
3.Once everyone is finished ask them whether they have the same graph
as you.
4.Do the same with the rest of the choices. |
D. Independent Practice-
1.When they get the idea of graphing and charts ask them to make
examples of each.
2.When everyone is finished go through all examples. |
F. Checking for understanding-
Give a quiz on matching and plotting numbers into a graph or chart.
G. Closure-
Wrap up by reviewing for a test. |
7. Evaluation-
Test, will consider all properties of graphing. |
