A. Introduction-

1.Students solve a problem with multiple solutions and analyze the relationship among the numbers to identify a pattern

B. Development-

1.Revisit last lesson and model how to split a 3 digit factor
2. Discuss strategy used to split rectangles (COMPUTER)
3. Play instructional video
4. Model making an estimate and discuss what it means
5.Use distributive property to rename a 3 digit factor and find partial products
6.Add partial products and model reasonable answers
