Play instrumental literature which may include changes in tempi, keys, and meters, written in modest ranges. Play instrumental literature representing diverse genres, styles, and cultures
 
3. Goals: Aims/Outcomes-
1.The learner will play on instruments, alone and with others, a varied repertoire of music.
2.The learner will read and notate music.
 
4. Objectives-
1.Recognize and demonstrate appropriate instrumental technique.
2.Show respect for the instrumental playing efforts of others
3.Read whole, half, quarter, eighth, sixteenth, and dotted notes and rests in 2/4, 3/4 and 4/4. 5.05 Show respect for the reading efforts of others.

A. Introduction-

1. The teacher will introduce the musical concepts within a given piece of music.
 

B. Development-

1. The conductor will demonstrate correct posture.
2.The conductor will demonstrate breathing techniques.

1.The students will play as a group the music listed.
 

D. Independent Practice-

1. Continue to practice and work out any difficult passages in the music.
 

E. Accommodations (Differentiated Instruction)-

1. Part assignment will be based on level of proficiency
2. Will use peers helpers to assist student not at grade level.
