Explain what a "beat" is, how the different notes fit into them.
Show what each of the notes looks like and how they're verbally counted. |

C. Practice-
Find the beat to a few song clips.
Clap along to basic rhythms. |

E. Accommodations (Differentiated Instruction)-
If students have questions, I'll explain using various different
concepts - fractions are a good one. |
