6. Procedures/Methods-

A. Introduction-

1.Listen to the Beatles' song, "Yesterday" and have the students guess who the musician is.


B. Development-

Text on the Beatles, pg. 82

2. Beatles' song, "Lady Madonna" using the platform "Lingro".

3. Introduction to instruments with Merriam-Webster Visual Dictionary.

4. Glogster for Performing Music

C. Practice-

1.Write down the phrases the Beatles used to express their attitude towards life and people. Underline the words they emphasize.

2. Try to understand the social message of "Lady Madonna".

3. Compare and contrast the photographs (pictures, pg. 83), saying what musical instruments a symphony orchestra. a military brass band, a jazz and a pop group consist of.

4. Discuss as a class how playing a musical instrument can help people understand music better.


D. Independent Practice-

1. Write a report about your favorite composer or musician using Glogster.
