A. Introduction-
1.why the backhand is useful
2.learning cues

B. Development-
1.show proper placement of hands and racket
2.demonstrate proper footwork
3.demonstrate a proper swing |

C. Practice-
1.instructor on one side, students on the other side of court
2.instructor serves a ball to one player who returns the ball using
a backhand swing.
3.each person gets to go through 3 times. |

1.divide into partners/pairs
