6. Procedures/Methods-
|
A. Introduction-
1.Importance of team play |
|
|
B. Development-
Team's goal is the capture their flag from the opposite end of the
court before the other team captures their's. Each team will have
a cone on their side with the other teams color on top of it. Each
team will be given a certain amount of gator balls that will be used
to tag players of the opposite team and make them sit down. Students
will only be able to get up if tag by a player of their team which
will allow them to come back into the game. |

C. Practice-
1.Students will have a warm up activity that will help students
run to a flag and bring it back to their team.

D. Independent Practice-
1.4 rounds of the warm up activity

E. Accommodations (Differentiated Instruction)-
1.No accommodations will be given to students because "Capture the
Flag" is a team game. Individuals will be encourage to use their strengths
in order to capture the flag.

F. Checking for understanding-
1.Ask students what strategies worked best for them in order to
capture the flag.

G. Closure-
1.Tell students different strategies that will help for next time.
