Dancing, and for students be engaged in the class.
 
3. Goals: Aims/Outcomes-
1. To get students engaged in class.
2. To teach students "made up" dance.
3. For the class to have fun !!!
 
4. Objectives-
1. Make sure everyone is paying attention while I demonstrate the dance.
2. Make sure that everyone understands and is able to do the steps.
3. Support the students and engage them to have fun and add their own "twist".
 
5. Materials and Aids-
Your feet and rhythm !!!
 
6. Procedures/Methods-

A. Introduction-

1. Warm up.
2. Stretching and getting the class into rhythm.
 

B. Development-

1. Perform complete dance.
2. Show steps, each set of 8 counts.
3. Go through each set twice.
 

C. Practice-

1. Go through steps along with class.
2. Give advice and assistance on how to do the steps.
 

D. Independent Practice-

1. Watch class go through steps.
2. Assess the progress and see how well they understand.
 

E. Accommodations (Differentiated Instruction)-

Final dance, as a class.
 

F. Checking for understanding-

1. Give the class feedback on how they are progressing with the task.
2. Tell the class what they can improve on.
 

G. Closure-

Cool down
