plastic bags (one for each student), gator skin balls (one for each student
 
6. Procedures/Methods-

A. Introduction-

1.Explanation of safety concern about plastic bags
2.Concentrate on both team mates success
 

B. Development-

1.Use past skills to help achieve your goal
2.Use new ideas to help achieve your goal
3.Demonstrate safety practices concerning the plastic bags
4.Demonstrate and stress teamwork for all activities
 

C. Practice-

1.Students will practice movement of bags during warm-up activities
2.Bag timer will be used for both warm-up and guided practice.
 

D. Independent Practice-

1.Pair students up to play float and switch
2.Pair students up to play bag skeet
 

E. Accommodations (Differentiated Instruction)-

1.Different locomotor activities during float and switch
2.Different throwing skills during bag skeet
 

F. Checking for understanding-

1.During independent practice do observations of all students
2.Have students demonstrate activities, especially if clarification is needed
3.Help students make adjustments when needed
 

G. Closure-

1.Model any areas where the class was having problems
2.Revisit the safety concerns for the plastic bags
 
7. Evaluation-
1.Observations are key to evaluations
2.Looking for teamwork, proper locomotor movements, throwing and tossing techniques and hand/eye coordination.
