2. Content-
Bump, Set, Spike, Rotations, offensive and defensive strategies
 
3. Goals: Aims/Outcomes-
1.Students will be able to set a volleyball.
2.Students will be able to serve a volleyball.
3.Students will be able to play an organized game.
 
4. Objectives-
1.Students must correctly complete the set, bump, and serve.
2.Students must be able to play a game, rotate, and keep score.
 
5. Materials and Aids-
Volleyballs and net
 
6. Procedures/Methods-

A. Introduction-

1.We will start by lining up each student in alphabetical order so I can take roll.
2.The students will then divide into groups and perform each of the required skills.
 

B. Development-

I will demonstrate and discuss each of the three skills before they are performed.
 

C. Practice-

1.I wll circulate while the students are performing each skill and evaluate which students need more work.
2.The students will have 4-5 minutes to work on each skill.
 

D. Independent Practice-

1.On the set the hands must be over the head and not carry the ball.
2.The bump must be performed with hands closed and not open resulting in a carry.
3.The serve must be accurate and behind the service line.
 

E. Accommodations (Differentiated Instruction)-

Some students may need more practice so I will allow them the extra time to master the skills.
 
7. Evaluation-
I will evaluate at the end of the class how each student performed and how the game went when it was time to play.
