Subject: Creation Story
1. Topic-
God made day and night
 
2. Content-
God made two big special lights. The biggest light, the Sun was for daytime and the smaller light, the Moon, for nighttime.
 
3. Goals: Aims/Outcomes-
1.Students can identify which light is for the day and which light is for the night.
2.Students can tell between daytime and nighttime activities.
3. Students will thank God for day and night
 
4. Objectives-
1. Let the children differentiate night and day.
2.Let the children identify which activities are done by day and which are done by night
 
5. Materials and Aids-
Puppet show window, song charts, memory verse visual aid
 
6. Procedures/Methods-

A. Introduction-

1."Copy Me" game (activities from waking up to sleeping at night).
2. What things are done during the day and during the night.
3. The special things God made for daytime and nighttime.
 

B. Development-

1. Creation story story (Day 1)
2. Puppet show on God made the light.
3. Children will talk about what they do at day and night
 

C. Practice-

Artwork ( Paste the activity that you do in the daytime under the sun and the activity you do at nighttime under the moon)
 

Checking for understanding-

Make a big circle in the air for activities done during the day and small circle and twinkle-twinkle hand action for activities done at night
 

Closure-

1. Help children think of ways to enjoy the day and the night.
2. Thanking God for creating the day and night (Prayer)
 
7. Evaluation-
1. The children can now clearly picture out which activities are done during the day and which are done at night.
2. The children now understand that the Sun was created by God for the daytime and the Moon for the nighttime.
 
8. Teacher Reflection-
It is such a rewarding feeling to know that I helped in some children's better understanding of God's word and, in the long run, the children's Spiritual growth.
