Science Fair Projects
Not part of the Kentucky Core Content but required by Bullitt Central High School

Expected Outcome Of This Lesson Plan-
1. To have every student the school science fair
2. Have all students conform to the model of a science fair project.
3. Students will do a write up on their project.
Teacher Objectives-
1. make sure students are working on a project.
2. Show students how to make their presentation board.
3. Provide work time in class for students to be successful on their projects.
Art materials, presentation boards, markers, construction paper, MMP, computer, power point presentations.
Teaching Methods-

1. Lesson Introduction-

3. Graph Jam

2. Lesson Progression-

1.I will show how to set up a presentation board.
2. Six students can go to the library to work on presentation papers.

3. Guided Practice-

1. Students can create poster presentations.
2. Editing help can be given in class.
3. Help with scientific method can be given.

4. Student Practice-

1. Students can be working outside of class if more time is needed.

5. Learner Accommodations-

1. I will provide accommodations for my special needs students according to their IEPs, 305, and from suggestions from the collaborative instructors.

6. Assessment-

1. Science fair projects can be checked with a scoring rubric provided by the science department chair.

7. Lesson Closure-

1.Room needs to be straightened
Measuring Student Progress-
1. Project will be judged at science fair.
